UK TRUST PLEDGES TO RAISE £100,000 FOR BIHAR FLOOD TRAGEDY  

In reference to the natural disaster which  Bihar is facing in the form of deadly floods, PP Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj has announced the donation of 2 crores i.e. £250,000 (GBP) approx. for relief works to be carried out there in Bihar. With effect of his spiritual words, Patanjali Yog Peeth has received 51 Lakhs rupees within 2 days. All the corporate and non corporate identities throughout India are coming forward to fulfil the wishes of PP Swami Ji for providing timely relief to flood effected people in Bihar. More than 15000 Yog Teachers and volunteers from Patanjali have already initiated the relief works in Bihar
by visiting highly effected areas.
 
I am delighted to inform that Patanjali Yog Peeth (UK) Trust has pledged to raise a further £100,000 in support of the relief efforts.
 
It is, therefore, I appeal to you all to stand with PP Swami Ji to provide full support and timely relief to people in Bihar by offering an appropriate donation towards the relief fund.
 
 
BRIEF NOTE:
 
Millions of people are crying for help as they have been completely stranded by the terrible floods which have swept Bihar in India. Rescue operations are underway to prevent this disaster from turning into a catastrophe.

More than 400,000 people are struggling for evacuation by disaster management teams and over 800,000 are forced to leave their homes to makeshift shelters.
Now, the fear of water borne disease is prevalent among aid workers and there are serious concerns that many more people could die if they are not rescued from their stricken villages.
 
Being a member of Patanjali, you are aware that we are committed to take active participation, as such Patanjali Yog Peeth (UK) Trust, has pledged to raise £100,000 to go towards relief efforts in the devastated province.

The money raised will be used under the entire supervision of PP Swami Ji, for:
 
 The delivery of food, plastic sheeting for shelter, transport, medical supplies and animal feed.

 Disease prevention measures.

PP Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj along with Acharya Balkrishan Ji will be visiting the affected area to monitor all relief activities.
